NATIONAL SUMMARY
Spotty showers will stretch from the interior mid-Atlantic
to the Tennessee Valley tomorrow, with an area of steadier
rain in New England. Locally strong thunderstorms could
erupt during the afternoon hours in Oklahoma and far
southern Kansas. Rain will fall along much of the West coast
from Washington to Oregon and Northern and Central
California. Snow will be restricted the mountains, but some
of the highest elevations in the Sierra Nevada could have as
much as a foot of snow. Lighter snow will stretch as far
