NATIONAL SUMMARY
A corridor of rain will stretch from upstate New York to
eastern Pennsylvania tomorrow, especially in the morning.
Spotty showers can dampen surrounding areas, including
Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode
Island, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and eastern Virginia.
Locally severe thunderstorms are expected to erupt during
the afternoon and continue into the night in eastern North
Dakota, northeastern South Dakota and much of Minnesota. A
separate area of storms is also likely farther south in
central and eastern Nebraska, northeastern Kansas,
southwestern Iowa and northwestern Missouri. Storms in both
areas can cause flooding downpours, hail and damaging wind
gusts. Monsoon thunderstorms will pose the risk for flooding
in the Four Corners states.
