NATIONAL SUMMARY
A tropical rainstorm will continue to move northward
tomorrow, and significant rainfall could result in flooding
in southeastern Texas. However, the rain will also be
beneficial with an ongoing drought. Some of the rain will
extend into western Louisiana, with some flooding on streets
and in poor drainage areas. Elsewhere, much of the Southeast
can expect a couple of showers and a thunderstorm. Monsoon
thunderstorms will rumble in the Four Corners region,
particularly in southern Colorado. Another zone of
thunderstorms can stretch from the eastern Great Lakes into
the interior Northeast. A dry day is expected in Washington,
Oregon and California. It will also be dry for the East
Coast from Maine to New Jersey, although thundershowers may
arrive overnight.
