NATIONAL SUMMARY
As a storm system moves off the Atlantic coast, low clouds
and showers are expected tomorrow in New England, with drier
conditions farther south. Showers and thunderstorms are
likely again in the Florida Peninsula, with the most intense
storms producing heavy rain and gusty winds. Afternoon and
evening thunderstorms are expected to track across Wisconsin
and northern Illinois. Some of these storms may turn severe,
with hail and damaging wind gusts possible. Monsoon
moisture will allow for showers and storms in the Four
Corners states, some of which can lead to localized
flooding. As a storm system continues to move onshore,
periods of rain will continue in parts of Oregon and
California.
