On Tuesday, the City of Clarksdale honored the life and service of Clarksdale Firefighter Eddie Bright. Draped in the American flag, Eddie’s casket made its final journey aboard Engine 4. Surrounded by his brothers in service, he was carried with the same dignity and strength that he showed throughout his life. In the final moments before Eddie's last ride, Clarksdale Fire Chief Charles Lane handed down his helmet, a symbol of a job well done and a life of service completed.
