Kim Seals officially turned in her paperwork on Aug. 1 and filed to be a candidate in the District 26 State Representative Election on Nov. 4. Seals filed with the Secretary of State’s Office at the State Capitol Jackson. District 26 includes parts of Coahoma, Bolivar, and Sunflower counties. Seals, left, is with State Rep. Greg Haney of District 118 who has some family in the Clarksdale area. The election on Nov. 4 is a result of Orlando Paden resigning from the position to be the Mayor of Clarksdale.
