Auto burglary
* 1500 block of Camellia Drive. Owner reported at 12:55 a.m. that their 2015 GMC had been rummaged through, but no items were taken.
Activity report for Saturday, Jan. 5
One person shot
* Police were called out to the Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center at approximately 7:15 p.m. where a Clarksdale resident, Sedquavious Price, had been shot. Price told police he was walking in the area between Lynn Avenue and Herrin Street earlier that night when he heard gunshots. He told police he didn't know where the shots were coming from and later realized he had been struck in the leg.
Residential burglary
* 500 block of Maple Avenue: Resident made a report at 10:45 p.m. that they found their back door kicked in. Reported missing were a 65-inch TV (valued at $500), PlayStation 4 ($300), 32-inch TV ($200), Firestick ($60) and a Kindle fire ($80).

Residential burglaries
* 700 block of Mississippi Street. A gas heater was taken.
* 1300 block of Lombard Street. A pellet rifle, pellet pistol, cordless drill and some bottles of liquor were taken.
* 100 block of Monroe Circle. Four televisions, U.S. currency and an iPhone 8 was taken.
Commercial burglary
* 500 block of State Street (Tiger mart). Several packs of Newport cigarettes were taken.
