Two men face drug charges after two separate traffic stops Saturday night in Clarksdale.
Adari Haulcy, 38, was pulled over around 9:34 p.m. Saturday for running a Stop sign. During the investigation, police allegedly found powder cocaine and marijuana, as well as a firearm.
Haulcy was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent and with being a felon in possession of a firearm, as well as state and federal parole violations.
He was transported to the Coahoma County Jail where he was awaiting his initial appearance in Clarksdale Municipal Court on Tuesday, Jan. 22.
Also on Saturday, around 9:45 p.m., police initiated a traffic stop in the area around Martin Luther King Boulevard and Mississippi Street.
As a result of the traffic stop, Bobby Walker, 44, was arrested for possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia (a crack pipe).
Walker was transported to the Coahoma County Jail where he was waiting to make his initial appearance in Clarksdale Municipal Court on Tuesday, Jan. 22.
