Christopher Michael Harthcock, 23, of Clarksdale, a Nike warehouse employee, died Friday, Jan. 22, 2021 at home. Graveside services are 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021 at Drew Cemetery in Drew. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale is handling the arrangements.
Chris was a performer in the Lee Academy Mane Event Show Choir. He was a talented musician and singer. Devoted father and beloved son and grandson.
Survivors include: wife Janice Edwards of Clarksdale; son Kurt Michael Harthcock of Clarksdale; daughter Amore' Martha Harthcock of Clarksdale; mother Amber Lea Harthcock of Memphis, Tenn.; brother Gavin Fowler of Brandon; maternal grandparents Mike and Martha Hannah Harthcock of Clarksdale; paternal grandparents Wade and Kim Fowler of Ridgeland; maternal great grandmother Flossie Hannah of Clarksdale; paternal great grandfather Charlie Fowler of Clarksdale; and a lot of special people that loved him.
Preceded in death by maternal great grandfather Charles Hannah; paternal great grandmother Shirley Serio Fowler; maternal grandparents Herman and Sara Tucker Harthcock.
