Judy Gable McFarland Hunsucker, 75, of Tunica passed away Jan. 5, 2021 peacefully at home with her loving husband of 30 years. She was born Nov. 26, 1945 to Earline Hawkins and Harley Elbert Gable. Judy, or more affectionately known as JuJu, was an educator from early on, and never stopped teaching or helping people throughout her long life. JuJu graduated from Clarksdale High School and earned her bachelor and master degrees from Delta State University. She married Prentis McFarland (of blessed memory) in 1964. Together, they had three beautiful blessings named Beverly, Rhonda, and Monica. They both worked hard and enjoyed a fun Mississippi life. In 1991, JuJu married Edward Hunsucker. They worked hard to establish The Money Tree company in Tunica. She retired in 2008. JuJu loved her family, was a faithful Christian, and a member of Rena Lara Baptist Church. She was proceeded in death by her parents and her brother Daniel Wayne Gable. She is survived by her husband, Edward, her sister Nina Gable Davenport, her three daughters, Beverly (Charles), Rhonda (John), and Monica (Bert), and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her life-long friend of more than 50 years, Judy Noland. Due to COVID-19, the funeral arrangements are postponed. Memorial Funeral Home in Tunica is handling the arrangements. Donations can be made in honor of JuJu to the House of Grace in Southaven or to a local animal charity of your choice.
