Paul Douglas Borgognoni, 87, a Retired District Manager of Life of Georgia Insurance, passed away Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019 at the VA Hospital in Memphis. Visitation is 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Clarksdale. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Clarksdale with burial in the Oakridge Cemetery. Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale is handling the arrangements.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.
Survivors include: wife of 64 years Barbara Curcio Borgognoni; sons Paul Douglas Borgognoni, Jr. of Clarksdale, Roger Louis (Patricia) Borgognoni of Clarksdale, Alan Daniel (Carol) Borgognoni of Clarksdale, Timothy Glenn (Kaye) Borgognoni of Cordova, Tenn.; daughters Meriam Jo’an (Warren) Matthews of Clarksdale, Alice Joyous (Edward) Johnson of Clarksdale; sister Dora Curcio of Clarksdale; 19 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by parents Roggero and Maria Borgognoni; son Larry Dale Borgognoni; brothers Herman Borgognoni, Mike Borgognoni, Albert Borgognoni, Joseph Borgognoni, Johnny Borgognoni, Reno Borgognoni; sisters Tina DeMillio, Edith Simpson, Rosa Bates; daughter-in-law Lea Duke Borgognoni; grandsons James Paul “JP” Borgognoni, Matthew Borgognoni; great granddaughter Carolann Moscatelli.
