Four students from Coahoma County were among the list of students graduating from Mississippi State University this past fall, while several others were recognized for their grades during the past semester.
Among those listed as graduating at the end of the fall semester were Joshua David Bryant, of Lyon, with a bachelor’s degree from the College of Ag and Life Sciences; Jasonya Hazel Harris, of Lyon, with a bachelor’s degree from the College of Arts and Sciences; Elgton Torrance Jenkins, of Clarksdale, with a bachelor’s degree from the College of Education; and Charles F. Vincent, of Lyon, with a bachelor’s degree from the College of Ag and Life Sciences.
All four also earned Dean’s List distinction as they achieved a grade-point average between 3.5 and 3.79, based on a 4.0 scale, while completing at least 12 semester hours of course work with no incomplete grades or grades lower than a C.
Those named to the President’s List were Clarksdale natives Lauren Elisa Agostinelli, Anna Christian Bass, Sydney Elizabeth Fava, Mary Evan Ivy, Abbey Elizabeth Rankin, Mariat Thankachan and Autumn Dream Yarbrough.
Students on the President’s List achieved a 3.80 or better grade-point average, based on a 4.0 scale, while completing at least 12 semester hours of course work with no incomplete grades or grades lower than a C.
