Nothing was taken from a residence burglarized in the 600 block of Florida Street.
Over $1,000 was stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Pearson Street, while a business in the 400 block of North State Street suffered the loss of power tools and hand tools in a burglary.
Clarksdale police made three misdemeanor arrests: two for simple assault and one for contempt of court.
Wednesday, May 2
A cell phone was stolen from a vehicle burglarized in the 600 block of Desoto Avenue.
Police made four misdemeanor arrests: one for simple assault domestic violence; one for disorderly conduct; one for simple assault and disturbing the peace; and one for phone harassment.
Thursday, May 3
At about 2:48 a.m., it was reported that a man with his face covered pushed down a woman in the 300 block of Bolivar Street and demanded money from her. Police say there was no money taken and there were no injuries reported.
Alicia Sykes, 27, was arrested and charged with one count of credit card fraud that occurred inside the city limits of Clarkdale. Her bond was set at $5,000.
A storage shed at North and McKinley streets was broken into and three weed eaters, two leaf blowers, two hedge clippers, a tree saw and an edger were taken.
Police made three misdemeanor arrests: two for petit larceny; and one for phone harassment.
Saturday and Sunday, May 5-6
A lawn mower and a weed-eater were stolen from a residence in the 600 block of Lynn Street.
Also over the weekend, a wallet containing currency and personal identity items were stolen from an automobile parked in the 1500 block of Cedar Street, while a handgun was stolen from another vehicle parked in the 300 block of School Street.
Nothing was taken from vehicles parked in the 800 block of Spruce Street and the 700 block of School Street.
Clarksdale police made four misdemeanor arrests: one for uttering forgery; one for simple assault; one for disorderly conduct; and one while assisting another agency.
They also made a felony arrest for possession of a controlled substance.
Six citations were also issued.
Monday, May 7
A 32-inch TV and a DVD player were stolen from a residence in the 2100 block of Sixth Street while two X-boxes and one game were stolen from a home in the 1300 block of Seventh Street.
Tuesday, May 8
A handgun was stolen from an automobile burglarized in the 11 block of Park Circle.
Also, police made six misdemeanor arrests: two for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest; one for simple assault domestic violence and disobeying a police officer; one for driving with a suspended driver’s license; one for domestic violence and petit larceny; and one for possession of a stolen firearm.
They also issued two citations.
