Dr. Huong Pham is the new physician at The Woman's Clinic in Clarksdale.
Pham specializes in OB-GYN and she becomes the fourth OB-GYN practicing at the clinic. The Woman's Clinic is a full-service women's health practice providing women's health care services to the Mississippi Delta and beyond.
"We're happy to have Dr. Pham here," said Kushna Damallie, an OB-GYN and the president of The Woman's Clinic. "We're hoping for a long-term relationship."
By noon of her first day Monday, Pham had already seen 16 patients.
"We're truly grateful. You're a part of the family now," said Joel Southern, CEO of the Northwest Mississippi Medical Center. "We have a great need and know that you're going to be satisfying that."
Pham said everyone has been very hospitable and "so far, everything has been great."
In addition to the four OB-GYNs, The Woman's Clinic also has three nurse practitioners. The clinic is located at 2000 N. State St. in Clarksdale.
