Linda Covington Edgerley, 79, a homemaker of Southaven and formerly of Clarksdale, passed away Friday, May 1, 2020 at Hermitage Gardens in Southaven. Graveside services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Oakridge Cemetery in Clarksdale. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale is handling the arrangements.
Mrs. Edgerley was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Catholic Women's Organization and Martha's Ministries.
Survivors include her son Jerry Edgerley (Paula) of Hernando; sisters Gail Coll (John) of Cabot, Ark., Benny Thomas of Arlington, Tenn.; three grandchildren Kyle Edgerley, John Pope, Jason Pope.
She was preceded in death by her parents Otha and Hazel Patrick Covington; husband Jerome Edgerley; brothers Larry Covington, Bobby Covington; sister Patsy Jones.
