Allen Lee Shaffer, II, 40, an Audio Technician, died Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. Visitation is 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale. Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale is handling the arrangements.
Allen was an avid chef, sportsman and had a passion for Mississippi State University and the Boston Red Sox. The love he had for family and friends was unique and extraordinary. He will be remembered by the smile and laughter he would bring to friends and those around him.
Survivors include his parents Allen and Courtney Wise Shaffer; sisters Leigh Shaffer Carter (C.T.) of Greenwood, Merri Elizabeth Shaffer of Lyon; nephew Greydon Carter.
Preceded in death by paternal grandparents Tom and Sarah Bennett Shaffer; maternal grandparents Kenneth and Carolyn Cook Wise, Sr.
