Lillian Marier Borgognoni, 89, a retired Bookkeeper at the Woman's Clinic, died July 17, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. Visitation is 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday July 21, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Clarksdale. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Clarksdale with burial in the Oakridge Cemetery. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale is handling the arrangements.
She was a member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Cleveland.
Survivors include her sons Jerry Borgognoni, Sr. (Jamie) of Cleveland and Reno Mark Borgognoni, Sr. (Donna) of Lawrenceville, Ga.; daughters Deborah Borgognoni Barfield (Danny) of Cleveland, Brenda Borgognoni Robinson (Mike) of Boyle, Cynthia Borgognoni Cocilova (Doug) of Shaw; brother Charles Primo Sbravati of Clarksdale; sisters Gladys Boyles of Barnwell, S.C. and Irene "Tutta" Thompson of St. Augustine, Fla.; grandchildren Daniel Barfield (Abbe), Dennis Barfield (Susan), Dena Weeks (Johnny), Michael Robinson (Elainie), Brent Robinson (Jennifer), Stephen Cocilova (Amanda), Andrew Cocilova (Ashley), Reno Mark Borgognoni, Jr., Kristen Koch (Jeremy), Jerry Alan Borgognoni, Jr., Jennifer Pickens (Garrett); eight great-granddaughters and nine great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her husband Reno Borgognoni; parents Emo and Enis Barbieri Sbravati; brothers Vito Sbravati, Anthony "Tony" Sbravati and sisters Vita Trimble and Norma Sbravati.
