VANCE, Miss. – Paulette Powell, 82, a retired Registered Nurse, died May 13, 2025, at home.

Visitation is Friday, May 16, 2025, from 1 to 2 p.m., at Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, Miss.

Funeral services are 2 p.m., Friday, May 16, 2025, at Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, with burial in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Meredith Nowell Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.

Survivors include her husband Harvey Andrew Powell, Sr. of Vance; sons Harvey Andrew Powell, Jr. (Tabitha) of Vance, and Michael Eugene Powell (Teresa) of Hernando, Miss; grandchildren Brandon A. Powell, Sr. (Jennifer), Kenneth Powell, Michael Powell, John Michael Powell; great-grandchildren Brandon Andrew Powell, Jr., Ava Claire Powell, Benjamin Haddon Powell, Katherine (Katie) Jean Powell.

Mrs. Powell was preceded in death by her parents Noonen Eugene & Evelyn Ivy Smith.
