The Clarksdale Police Department has reported five incidents over an apparently quiet weekend, but did give an update on a series of auto burglaries reported in July.
On July 29, police responded to the area of Cardinal Lane in reference to a rash of auto burglaries.
This week’s report said four people reported forced entry to their vehicles with a small amount of cash stolen in the incident.
Police reports did not state if the cars were damaged in the incident or if any arrests were made in the incident.
Home Burglary
Clarksdale police also reported a home burglary over the weekend of Oct. 26 to 30.
Police said the victim reported a residence was under construction and someone stole an air generator, gas pressure washer, an electric saw and an extension cord.
Police did not give the date or location of the thefts.
Shots Fired
Police also reported the following calls of shots fired over the weekend:
• 400 block of Peachtree
• Spruce and Cuyahoga Streets
• 400 block of Washington Street
