JACKSON – The Mississippi Public Service Commissioners are excited to announce the upcoming Water Summit, inviting stakeholders and the public to join them in a crucial dialogue on July 31, 2024.
Mississippi Delta certified water association Circuit Riders, Wastewater Technicians and Ground Water Technicians are urged to attend this important meeting that will discuss critical funding issues facing rural water associations.
Scheduled from 9 to 5 p.m. at the MPSC Courtroom in the Woolfolk Building, Jackson, this summit aims to address pressing issues impacting water service across the state.
The summit will feature presentations from key leaders including the Mississippi Department of Health, Mississippi Rural Water Association, Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality, and Mississippi Municipal Water. These presentations will provide insights and initiatives crucial to enhancing water service reliability and accessibility statewide.
