Rosemary McRee Sabbatini, 83, died Dec. 27, 2024, at her residence. Visitation was Monday, Dec. 30, at 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Hernando.
Graveside services were 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30, 2024, at Oakridge Cemetery in Clarksdale.
Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, is handling arrangements.
She was a member of Junior Auxiliary of Grenada, Deputy Circuit Clerk of Clarksdale, Mississippi, Election Commissioner of Clarks-dale, and a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Hernando.
Survivors include her son Ned Sabbatini, Jr. (Elizabeth) of Memphis, Tenn.; daughters Leigh Hunt of Clarksdale, Jill Hunt Borgognoni of Columbus and Shannon Hunt Sullivan (Jamie) of Hernando; brothers Ronnie McRee of McAlester, Okla., Guy Fulton McRee (Barbara) of Alpharetta, Ga., and George Garner III of Grenada; sister Merrill Garner Vance (Jimmy) of Grenada; sister in law Judy McRee of Grenada; grandchildren Summer Graham (Rob) of Columbus, Zac Brown (Brooke) of Charleston, S.C., Sarah Sabbatini of Memphis, Caroline Moreland (Marcus) Germantown, Tenn., Cal Sullivan of Hernando and Cassie Sullivan of Hernando.
She was preceded in death by husband Ned Sabbatini, Sr., parents Jack Fulton and Mary Alice Sanderson McRee Jr; brother Jack Sanderson McRee and sister Vickie McRee Forrest.
