Now in its seventh year, the Bologna Performing Arts Center at Delta State University plans to screen new releases of major motion pictures on its big screen in the Delta & Pine Land Theatre.
All tickets are $5 for general admission seating, and are available at the BPAC Ticket Office, by phone 662-846-4626 or online www.bolognapac.com.
All three films are rated PG and will be shown on Tuesday evenings at 6:30. Popcorn and candy concessions will be available for purchase to enhance the movie experience.
The series began Tuesday night, Feb. 12, with the film “Wreck it Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks the Internet.”
“Mary Poppins Returns” will be shown on Tuesday, March 5. Mary Poppins returns during Michael’s most desperate hour to lend him a helping hand. With his house in danger of being repossessed, she whips up a little magic to remind him of the importance of family. The run time is 130 minutes and stars Emily Blunt, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ben Whishaw, Emily Mortimer and Pixie Davies.
“A Dog’s Way Home” comes to the screen Tuesday, April 30. Separated from her owner, a dog sets off on a 400-mile journey to get back to the safety and security of the place she calls home. Along the way, she meets a series of new friends and manages to bring a little bit of comfort and joy to their lives. The run time is 137 minutes and stars Ashley Judd, Edward James Olmos, Alexandra Shipp, Wes Sturdi and Barry Watson.
