Lee Academy won both of its home jamboree games on Friday night.
Quarterback Russell Cook threw a 9-yard touchdown pass to Phillip Brownlee to give the Colts a 6-0 win against Tunica Academy.
In a 13-0 win against Marshall Academy, Gage Murphy had a 4-yard touchdown run and Cook recovered a fumble on defense for the touchdown.
The Colts open the season at 7 p.m. Friday at home against Magnolia Heights school.
Lee is coming off of back-to-back playoff seasons where it was eliminated in the first round.
Lee travels to former district rival Bayou Academy in Week 2, hosts Stayhorn in Week 3 and Rossville on Sept. 13, which is homecoming.
North Delta School and Kirk Academy are Lee’s only district opponents for the season.
Macon Road Baptist was supposed to be in the district, but it did not have enough athletes to field a varsity team.
