CCC choir travels to India

When Divine Will Foundation founder, humanitarian and philanthropist Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai first came to Clarksdale in 2019, Chamber executive director Jon Levingston put together a public event consisting of speakers and musical performances. One of the performers was the Coahoma Community College Choir, led by Dr. Kelvin Towers.

County's season comes to an end

Coahoma County High School won its first district championship since 2010 and earned a home playoff game.
However, the Red Panthers (5-6) came up just a little bit short in the second round of the playoffs.
Coahoma County’s season came to an end in the second round with a 35-8 loss at home against Noxubee County on Friday night.
