In my column last month, I talked about Clarksdale coming together with Helena-West Helena, Ark., to keep the annual King Biscuit Blues Festival going this coming October.
KBBF is a Helena-West Helena event. When the festival went through some financial issues, both communities stepped up to the plate to keep it going.
