The Tunica County Sheriff’s Department has arrested a man for attempted murder, drive by shooting, shooting into a vehicle and conspiracy following a February 5 crime.
De’Marion Hamilton, 28, of Tunica, was arrested Tuesday following a violent crime in the winter of 2023.
“On Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023, the Tunica County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call at approximately 3:05 a.m. regarding a female victim with gunshot wounds on Casino Center Drive in Robinsonville,” the sheriff’s department said in a statement. “Upon arrival, deputies made contact with a black female suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The female was transported by Wings to Region One Hospital in Memphis and survived her injuries.”
The department said two other John Doe warrants have been issued for suspects who participated in this crime as of Thursday, Sept. 5.
This investigation is active and ongoing.
