From the Brit writing team of Mischief Theatre Company, Broadway masters of comedy, comes this smash hit farce; the very latest iteration of one of theatre’s favorite subforms, the “play-within-a-play.”
Welcome to opening night of the Cornley University Drama Society’s newest production, “The Murder at Haversham Manor,” where things are quickly going from bad to utterly disastrous. This 1920s whodunit has everything you never wanted in a show – an unconscious leading lady, a corpse that can’t play dead, and actors who trip over everything (including their lines).
Nevertheless, the accident-prone thespians battle against all odds to make it through to their final curtain call, with hilarious consequences!
Part Monty Python, part Sherlock Holmes, this Olivier Award-winning comedy is a global phenomenon that’s guaranteed to leave you aching with laughter.
There will be four performances only: May 12-15. Thursday through Saturday curtain time is 7 p.m. and Sunday's matinee curtain is at 2:30 pm. Adult Admission is $10 for each performance and admission for anyone with a Student ID or all who are under 16 is $6.
All tickets are general admission, and there is no reserved seating: all seating is on a first come, first served basis.
Tickets can be purchased at Grounded Sister, Montage Market Place, Bass Center offices or online at their ticket booth.
