Mississippi Farm Bureau President Mike McCormick was presented with the Mississippi State University Director's Award given by MSU Extension Director Dr. Gary Jackson and MSU President Dr. Mark Keenum at the 2019 Extension Annual Conference held in Starkville earlier this month.
"It is a most deserved tribute to Mike to be honored by the Extension Service for his leadership in Mississippi agriculture," said Bowen Flowers, a Coahoma County farm leader.
Every year Mississippi State University Extension administration, faculty, agents, and staff gather to celebrate exemplary programs, honor contributions to Extension’s mission, and to discuss the vision for Extension’s future.
The award recognizes an individual who has made outstanding contributions to MSU Extension and has had a positve impact on faculty, staff, agents, and programs.
