Three Coahoma County girls qualify for state track, field meet

Three Coahoma County High School girls qualified for the Class 2A state track and field meet.
The state meet is at Pearl High School today and results will be published in Wednesday's Clarksdale Press Register.
CCHS competed in the north half of the state at Potts Camp High School last week to qualify for the state meet.

Lady Wildcats finish third at Pontotoc track meet

The Clarksdale High School girls track and field team finished in third place at the Class 4A north state meet at Pontotoc High School Thursday.
This came after winning their district at Mississippi Valley State University and finishing second in regionals at Olive Branch High School.

CMSD trustees hear details of school business manager suspension

Clarksdale Municipal School District business manager Kamilah Woods-Parris appealed a three-day suspension without pay for insubordination and not fulfilling her duties in a timely manner in January and it remains to be seen if the suspension will stand.
