A man being sought on charges of domestic violence was arrested in neighboring Quitman County and is back in Clarksdale.
Police had been searching for Whitney Cole, 42, since they executed an arrest warrant following a reported aggravated domestic violence incident that took place on the 700 block of Lynn Street in Clarksdale on Dec. 5, 2018.
He was arrested on the warrant in Quitman County by deputies and transported back to Clarksdale on Friday, Feb. 22.
Cole, who was lodged in the Coahoma County Jail, was scheduled to make his initial appearance in Clarksdale Municipal Court at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26.
