Expecting to turn things around, the Lee Academy Colts (0-3) will host their Spring Break Tournament Monday, March 11 playing Delta Academy at 11 a.m. and Carroll Academy at 3 p.m. Giving Lee Academy a break, Delta and Carroll will play one another at 1 p.m.
“In the past seasons, we’ve played well against these two teams,” says head coach Brock McKnight.
Lee Academy will play Deer Creek in Arcola on Thursday, March 7 at 1 p.m.
When asked about the slow start to the season, Coach McKnight commented, “We’ve been playing really well. The ball hasn’t fallen our way the past few games, but we’re trying to get back on track.”
Conference games for the Colts will begin after spring break, and they will face Indianola away and then the two teams will meet up again at Lee on Thursday.
