A date has been set for the special election involving the City of Clarksdale Ward 1 Commissioner position.
Gov. Tate Reeves set the special election between Ray Sykes and Bo Plunk for Nov. 18.
Sykes defeated Plunk, a four-term incumbent, in the Democratic Primary runoff by two votes.
