Man charged with stealing vehicle from hotel parking lot

A 22-year-old man who was charged with stealing a vehicle from the parking lot of a hotel last week was captured after a short vehicle and foot pursuit.

Jeremy Rash was placed in the Coahoma County Jail and charged with grand larceny.

Man sentenced to 15 years for rape, robbery

A Clarksdale man was sentenced to 15 years in prison last month after he pled guilty to charges of rape and robbery.

Cordaro Vishun Foxx, 31, who formerly lived at 316 Florida St., was sentenced by Judge Albert Smith after he pled guilty on Jan. 31 during his appearance in Coahoma County Circuit Court.

Man charged after allegedly stabbing his sister in the head

A 25-year-old man has been charged with aggravated assault after he allegedly stabbed his sister in the head.

Terrell Starks was charged on Thursday, Feb. 7 and lodged in the Coahoma County Jail awaiting his initial court appearance, which will be held in the Clarksdale Municipal Court at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12.
